VMware – Configuring NICs teaming, load balancing, network traffic segregation for VMware Vsphere 4.x based on single physical Ethernet on my notebook

>I have installed the VMware Vsphere 4.x on VMware Workstation 6.5 and then configure the multiple NICs ( e1000) to support these features ( Since these are the pure networking term,which require multiple NICs)

I have configure the .vmx file with the following additional parameters.

ethernet1.present = “TRUE”
ethernet1.vitualDev = “e1000”
ethernet1.connectionType = “nat”

ethernet2.present = “TRUE”
ethernet2.vitualDev = “e1000”
ethernet2.connectionType = “nat”

ethernet3.present = “TRUE”
ethernet3.vitualDev = “e1000”
ethernet3.connectionType = “nat”

ethernet4.present = “TRUE”
ethernet4.vitualDev = “e1000”
ethernet4.connectionType = “nat”

save the files and power on newly installed VMware Vsphere 4.x

Note. ethernet0 is already present because my notebook has single Ethernet.
